Being naturally inclined to protect the land we explore and to support the local communities we visit, we realized that we were practicing “Sustainable tourism” even before the notion became an official concept in tourism, simply by doing things out of love for nature and people. All our tours are operated with a “leave no trace”policy and we are constantly informing our clients about all the sustainable decisions they can make along the way.
Explore Romania’s commitment to sustainability ranges from eco-friendly choices regarding day-to-day activities in the office to the endeavors of protecting and developing the local communities. We cooperate with small, local companies which share our values, we shop locally, and serve local foods whenever possible.
Please find our complete sustainability policy here.
Many of our projects could be realized only thanks to the generous support of our valued guests.
