Romania still posesses some 250.000 ha of virgin forests, which makes it a very interesting destination to study forestry, both for schools and universities as well as for forestry companies and associations of forest owners.
The groups will have meetings with forestry engineers, visit public and privately managed forestry districts, meet & discuss relevant topics with representatives of Forest Owners Association and the Forest Administrators Association.
They can visit exploitation sites, local wood processing factories, public and privately owned forestry districts. They can also visit virgin forests, some of which are already included in the UNESCO natural patrimony, have meetings with local forestry universities and local development NGOs.
