Romanian traditional cuisine blend is the perfect reflection of all the different nationalities that ever came to this land.
The cultural mosaic that Romania is today is easily distinguishable in its cuisine. Germans, Turks, Greeks, Hungarians, Russians, Szeklers, Ukrainians and Serbs have all added something to the local flavors that are today part of the traditional cuisine. Our tours try to include the various culinary experiences in different regions of Romania: visit food markets and several small local producers, participate in preparing traditional specialties, cheese tasting in typical sheepfolds, salt mine visits, cooking courses, craft beer tasting, and of course, wine and sparkling wine tasting in old but also modern wineries.
